In this finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Brooke Wyeth, a once-promising novelist, returns home to Palm Springs after a six-year absence to celebrate Christmas with her former leading Republican parents, her brother, and her eccentric liberal aunt. When Brooke announces that she is about to publish a memoir dredging up a pivotal and tragic event in the family's history, the family's holiday is thrown into turmoil over a wound they don't want reopened.

Other Desert Cities will be performed from Thursday, April 24 through Saturday, May 10, 2014. All shows start at 8:00 p.m. Admission is $10 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays and $15 on Fridays and Saturdays. The Celebration Company production features Kate Riley, Carolyn Kodes-Atkinson, Steve Keen, Joel Higgins, and Joi Hoffsommer, and is directed by Kay Holley.
