English department convocation
The English & Creative Writing Convocation ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2019, in Smith Memorial Hall at 5pm. This ceremony is for students graduating in May or August 2019, and further details can be found on the convocation website. Please note that participating students must register in advance using the form available on that site, and that registration will close April 10.
Celebrate our excellent teachers
Please join us in celebrating Professors Manisha Basu and Sandra Ruiz and Graduate Teaching Assistant Kate Norcross, who have won awards for excellence in undergraduate teaching at both the college and campus levels, along with English majors Hannah Preston and Princess White, winners of the Edward W. Collins and Doris Strickland-Collins Intern Award for LAS 101 and LAS 102 respectively. Congratulations to all!
